RIDERS ACQUIRE RECEIVER BRIAN JONES

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have acquired national wide receiver Brian Jones from the Toronto Argonauts in exchange for a seventh-round selection in the 2019 CFL Draft.

Jones was originally selected by the Argos in the first-round (4th overall) of the 2016 CFL Draft. Through his first three seasons the 24-year-old has registered 12 receptions for 128 yards and one touchdown in 24 regular-season games.

IS THIS A SIGN THAT SOME OF THE INJUROES FROM LAST NIGHT'S GAME WILL BE BAD ONES?

I think Brian Jones fits everything that Coach Jones likes. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this young man play both sides of the ball. Jones loves to show players they can excel at other positions.
Brian Jones has size and most importantly a Canadian passport.
