Weyburn extended their winning streak to 13 games in dramatic fashion. Trailing 4-3 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning the Beavers tied the game when Omar Prieto’s sacrifice fly to left field scored Luke Lubinieki.

Then in the bottom of the tenth, Wade Weinburger sent the 308 Weyburn fans home happy as he belted a walk off home run over the fence at Tom Laing Park.

Local product Eric Evans recorded the win as he struck out the three Red Sox hitters he faced in the extra frame.

Peyton Burks started for Regina and allowed a pair of runs over seven innings. The Arkansas Pine Bluff senior also registered eight strikeouts in the game.  Reliever Adam De La Cruz was the victim of Weinburger extra inning heroics.
