The Regina Red Sox got an outstanding performance from starter Evan Rogers in their 10-1 win over Yorkton at Jubilee Park. The senior from Texas A&M Texarkana dominated Cardinal batters over seven innings allowing only three hits while striking out six.

Riley Hickerson led the Red Sox offence with a double, triple, two RBI and two runs scored. The visiting Red Sox had seven different hitters register at least one RBI. Titus Jones continues to be an offensive force as he reached base twice for the Cards.

Regina finished the game with 13 hits and three stolen bases. Yorkton had one run on five hits. The Cardinals also committed three errors.

Next action for the Red Sox is Sunday when they travel to Swift Current for an afternoon matinee with the 57s.
