SAINTS RELEASE BIGHILL

NEW ORLEANS - The NFL's New Orleans Saints have released former CFL defensive player of the year Adam Bighill.

The Saints announced the move Monday at the end of their rookie mini-camp.

Bighill played for the B.C. Lions from 2011 to 2016. The linebacker was named a CFL all-star four times, a CFL West all-star five times was named the league's defensive player of the year in 2015, when he posted 114 tackles, four sacks and an interception.

He joined the Saints before the 2017 NFL season, appearing in three games and making one tackle.

Would be nice to see Bighill back in the CFL! I'll bet he's still got a lot cleft in the tank.
