EVERETT, Wash. - Glenn Gawdin supplied all the offence the Swift Current Broncos needed to take Game 3 of the Western Hockey League final.

Gawdin had a hat trick as Swift Current downed the Everett Silvertips 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday for a 2-1 series lead.

Gawdin tied the game 2-2 at 16:43 of the third period, then scored the winner 2:40 into extra time.

Riley Sutter and Matt Fonteyne scored late in the first for the Silvertips after Gawdin opened the scoring at 14:44.

Stuart Skinner turned away 37 shots for Swift Current as Carter Hart made 29 saves for Everett.

The Silvertips host Game 4 on Wednesday.

Another great win by the Broncos and cooling the Critics off is sooooooo nice to see.
Broncos keep playing like this and they will be Memorial Cup Bound. Go Broncos Go !

Congrats to the Broncos on a great win in Everitt! Gawdin is the man - what a performance! This was a key win and backs up the OT win in Swift in game #2...Silvertips you better start believing this Broncos Team is for real. Now that they have figured out Hart you better find something to respond with tonight!
