Good on Moose Jaw they didn't even show up for this game how can you LOSE a game 7 by the score 6-0 at home ,I don't get it but it could not have happened to a better team. This should quiet the Moose Jaw faithful who can now watch our Regina Pats in the Memorial Cup .Congrats to the Swift Current Broncos in spanking the warriors in game # 7.Good Luck Swift make Saskatchewan proud.

You know I really liked the warriors team this year (as a Pat's fan) but Hunters post games always rubbed me the wrong way. Just too much arrogance and a bit of a cry baby. Congrats Manny and Broncos team! The better (and tougher) team won! We got a real good look at them in the gruelling first series and swift is a team to reckon with! Hope to see you in the tourney in may!!!!

Aww I’m so sad for those Warriors ..... NOT!!
They shouldn’t have even made it to round 2.
After scoring the OT goal to tie the series I thouht MJ would come flying out of the gate. They look aweful, slow and tired! I picked Swift in 7, figured it would come down to goaltending.
Now Swift will burry Lethbridge!! Skinner against his old team, could get interesting.

All these tough Pat LOSERS are now yapping off. Where were you when your BELOVED PATSIES got knocked out ? OOPS I forgot you were and still are a Bunch Of Losers.

Congratulations to the Swift Current Broncos on the series win. Captain Gawdin continued his Leadership and it seems "as he goes" the Team goes. Hopefully he can take them all the way to the Cup now.
Gotta feel for the Warriors and their fans after such a great and exciting regular season. The season ended sooner than they wanted but hopefully the memories of watching a very skilled Team this year don't go away for awhile.

Welcome to the loser club Moose Jaw, keep yapping haha

Guess warriors need to host the cup so they can come or sneek in the back door

Why is that considered funny or witty?? That's exactly what your Regina Patsies are doing (sneeking in the back door).

Mr Weppler,
Thanks for spelling Gawdin's name correctly (unlike a certain poster on here who intentionally doesn't). I think that the big turning point in this series was the third period and overtime of game 4. After the second period of game 4 when the play was in the Bronco's end for almost the entire period and the Bronco's just barely held onto a 2-1 deficit we were already preparing eulogies for our season. Then the Broncos scored early in the third on the PP to take it to overtime and then basically beat the Warriors up physically for those two periods of overtime. The longer the overtime went the worse the Warriors looked, but had they gotten a bounce like they did in game 3 I think they would have taken the series. Personally I don't think that the issue was that the Warriors didn't show up in game 7; I just don't think they had anything left in the tank. Not that the Broncos had much more in the tank, but when you get an early lead and play pretty much flawless defensive hockey it's going to be pretty hard for a tired team to come back. Having seen the Pats and the Warriors for 7 games I think I am more scared of the Pats (they have similar skill level and can push back physically which the Warriors pretty clearly couldn't). If the Pats are mentally ready at the Memorial Cup they should be as good as any team there.

Going forward, it's hard to know what to expect out of Lethbridge, but the Broncos have to hope they can finish them off in 4 or 5 so that they can get some rest for what will likely be a very difficult league final. Another long series after those first two would not be good.

Two years in a row ….out in the 2nd round…typical losers!
Last year the Pats won the Scotty Munro trophy, East division champions, and went to 6 games with a depleted lineup…..Warriors 2nd round exits two years in a row. All you need to know.
This year went to seven games and lost 3-2 in SC again with a depleted lineup…not bad.
Now with a healthy lineup they have a good chance to win the Memorial Cup.
We know for sure MJ won't…LOL……….always too soft and limited character.

Warrior fans classy as usual. Do you feel better insulting the Pats after your team choked?

MJ was A FIRST round loser last season. Get your facts straight.

Lets give credit where credit is due the Bronco's built for the playoffs. The Warriors were not but I will tell you this I will enjoy the wins over the Broncos and Pats for the next few years until those two teams catch up to their trades.

Pats would have beaten the Warriors too if they would have met. MJ had a good year but the other teams caught up and surpassed them in talent at the end. PA probably should have knocked them off. Now does Swift have it easy after knocking off these two teams or could two 7 games series start to wear them down.

you never know what will happen the next few years' wouldn't count you chickens yet.

I thought at the start of the Playoffs, that if the Pats could make it by SC, that they would make it to the league final again. Regina taking Swift to 7 games and losing by 1 in the final game against an awesome Broncos team proves that they are indeed a Memorial Cup contender.

Lethbridge is playing well. I belive Swift is the much better team, they will take this series in 5 or 6.

However, I would not at this point cede the league championship to the Broncos though. Everett has the CHL's best goalie in Carter Hart. And Tri City is playing very well, loaded up with trades and is ready to go. The winner of that series will give Swift trouble, and would not be surprised if the Western Conference represents the WHL.

Having said all of this, I would love to see the Broncos at the Memorial Cup. Local team, it would create so much buzz around the event.
