REDBLACKS ACQUIRE ODELL, THEN SHIP HIM TO BC

OTTAWA - The Ottawa REDBLACKS were involved in pair of trades on Friday. In their first transaction, they dealt defensive lineman Jake Ceresna to Edmonton in exchange for defensive lineman Odell Willis.

Ottawa followed that up by dealing Willis to the BC Lions in exchange for a fourth round pick in 2018 and a player off the Lions' negotiation list.

Tough day to be an Eskimos fan I'm sure. You guys lost the heart of your defense today... talk about a terrible trade!!!

Loved Willis but we still have a big heart to keep the D pounding as in Sewell. Grymes is signing also. We have a very good D-line with or without Willis.

I’m curious as to why Grymes hasn’t signed already? The hold out would suggest he would like to entertain offers in FA.
I’m not suggesting he is going to sign elsewhere. I’m suggesting he may not be happy with the current offer.
