STAMPEDERS FIRE ASSISTANT COACH

The Calgary Stampeders announce that the contract of defensive backs coach Kahlil Carter will not be renewed when it expires on Dec. 31.

Carter has been a member of the Stampeders coaching staff for three seasons.

"I felt it was in the best interests of the team to go in a different direction with that position on our staff," said head coach Dave Dickenson. "I thank Kahlil for all he has done for the team during his time in Calgary and wish him the best of luck in the future."

What? I guess he’s being made the scapegoat for the 100 yard blunder. This is just stupid

Fire the guy who had nothing to do with the reason they lost. Good idea .

scape goat, Dickey is using this guy as an escape goat. That def backfield was good, its the fighting and bickering in the locker room that is the problem and all that finger pointing....that goes right on Dickey and Huff. I guess those stamps aren't as solid as Horsey says they are. teeeeeheeee.

both bonehead plays by the stamps were on the offense. But they fire the defensive backfield coach. Ya, pretty much falls in tune with what I would figure would come from the stamps head coach and GM as they have no clue how to put together a GC winning team. Sure regular season they do fine but the poor synergy with their teamwork always gets them in the end.
