BUTLER RE-SIGNS WITH RIDERS

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed international defensive back Crezdon Butler to a one-year contract extension, keeping him with the team through 2019.

Butler (6’1 – 191) signed with the Riders in June, 2017 after spending parts of seven seasons in the NFL, playing 46 career games.

Last season the 30-year-old Clemson product started 15 regular-season games for the Green and White and picked up 39 defensive tackles, four pass knockdowns, two quarterback sacks and a forced fumble.

In the playoffs Butler added eight defensive tackles and one fumble recovery while starting the Eastern Semi-Final and Eastern Final.

Great signing.

As he became more comfortable with the CFL game, Butler was the Riders best DB by the end of the season.

Another good signing. Where are all the trolls who say no-one wants to play for Jones? The silence is deafening.

Keep them coming, it wasn't that our team had bad players, just players that needed to get a year in to experience the CFL. The more of the team we get back the better off we'll be going into 2018. Great signings so far.

Let's hope he doesn't run into anymore goal posts in his own end zone trying to cover guys that was priceless

that loser Horsie will come up with something negative about this. That you can count on. Hey Rod, ban this doufus from Calgary from posting on your site, it will be obvious when he posts. All he does is spew negative comments about anything riders. When in actuality, its his stamps who are losers with not being able to win the big game year after year.

They turned on the taps at Mosaic Stadium people. Plenty of kool Regina drinking water (come and git you some) courtesy of Mosaic Stadium as the pipes burst and flood destructively. Pats dressing room will have them skating right out from their respective stalls straight to the assembled boarded rink for the outdoor game.

Better add extre padding to the goalposts.

To Anon #6... Don't worry about Calgary's mighty mischievous moron anymore. After watching the Pats game a week ago I watched an Alberta Veterinarian show. It just so happened they were removing the testicles of Horsie because he had been nothing but mischievous and a whole of trouble for Alberta Sports fans.
After they finished with Horsie they performed the same surgery on Six. The Stamps mascot. The fans were actually mad at Bo Levi Mitchell for losing another Grey Cup game but had no choice but to take it out on the actual Horse. They did this so that when Six does do his 6 point run down the sidelines. It's a reminder to Bo that it's his fault he no longer see's Six's jingle bells swinging and flopping around during the gallop down the field. If it should be a 3rd Grey Cup loss in a row, then they will have no choice Bo. So you better get it done
