Well here we go again!! Another game, and another loss and a blow out to boot. Can’t use the excuse the boys are tired. Back in the day teams that went out west played 3 in 3, now it’s one and get three nights off. So what are the problems? Obviously this team is lacking talent. Yes, there are some good players, but on the whole there’s not enough. Team is too small, which has been said before on several occasions. To sell the team for the Memorial Cup should seriously be looked at. Who even says they will even gel in time to make a good run for it. Then next year and years after the huge rebuild starts. Not saying a couple trades could work but don’t sell the farm.
It’s unfortunate last years team wasn’t built for this year. I’m not sure if this team can be a 500 team when it’s all said and done. Hope I’m wrong though.

Pats got their Butts kicked on the scoreboard and on the Fight Card with a tough Tri City hockey team that was out to win. Pats will go nowhere in the Memorial Cup , they blew it all up for last year and another Western Team kicked their Butts and put an end to that also. They will show up because they are Hosts but that will be all.

Paddock benched or traded guys who were too physical. His pacifist mentality is hurting this club on the ice, on the scoreboard, and in public opinion. Every team out there has at least three tough guys and we don't have any. That along with the obvious talent shortage and poor goaltending is killing us and will keep doing so. He spent too much on one d-man last season and it's now coming back to haunt him. Nothing to make deals with. Too many on our bottom six have scored almost nothing all season, so it's pretty obvious they need upgrades> However every team in each conference is now in the hunt for a playoff spot. A few weeks ago you could have likely dealt with several teams but now who's going to part with players if they are in the race? Paddock seriously overrated some of his bottom end talent and he has failed to correct it. This team has been poorly constructed and now they are in dire straits.

Waiting for Mr Weppler to tell us we are real good...solid goaltending and Paddock is a genius..Have faith...if we score 7 goals a game we will be fine

Never too late to let Mj be the host team! Pats have alot of work to do and when you have to add 4-5 pieces it's never a recipe for success. The teams that succeed usually add a piece or two

Well then, judging by your public opinion the Regina Pats should bench the pacifist John Paddock immediatately. This would surely solve all the teams poorly constructed dire straits deficiencys you so pointedly opined.

PS, your first and last name wouldnt happen to be buffoon would it?

Personally, I hope the Pats don't "sell" the farm so to speak for the Memorial Cup. They are guaranteed to participate and will generate huge revenue for the CHL. That is all they are interested in a host team. Anything can happen in a short round robin tournament. Surprise a team or two, hopefully get yourself to the final and anything can happen.

And the Americans managed to accomplish last night’s feat minus one of their best players in Michael Rasmussen

this team reminds me of the Oilers again this season, heading for last overall

Well the broncos made a big trade to improve their secondary scoring and some grit, the warriors will be getting some key players back from injury and the pats are still waiting for jost and Wagner? Well no one will ever be able to take away their memorial cup participant banner they will rise next season
