ESKS DOWN ARGOS 30-27, CLINCH PLAYOFF BERTH

EDMONTON - Derel Walker's six-yard touchdown reception with 57 seconds left propelled the Edmonton Eskimos to a 30-27 win over the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday night to clinch a CFL playoff berth.

Walker's catch came after a 21-yard, third-down reception by Brandon Zylstra and a costly illegal contact penalty against Toronto.

Korey Jones picked off a deflected Ricky Ray pass with seconds left to ensure the victory.

The Eskimos' drive came just after the Argos had put together a lengthy scoring drive of their own to take a 27-23 lead with three minutes left.

Back-up quarterback Cody Fajardo hit running back Declan Cross with a two-yard pass to give the Argonauts their only lead of the game.

Fajardo finished off a 10-play, 75-yard drive begun by quarterback Ricky Ray immediately after Edmonton had taken a 23-20 lead on Swayze Waters's third field goal of the night.

Canada's real team?

No one cares about the Eskimos outside of northern Alberta. Rider pride is Canada wide.

I'd rather be a Rider than a f'n eskimo....

Esks should have lost. And how humiliating they announced 26,000 fans, but looked more like 15,000 showed up. Following Toronto's lead I see.

It is a exactly like last few years for riders fans they announced a crowd as a sellout but very very lucky to have 18000 actually show up.Rder pride is NOT Canada wide it's just the people who left this province in the past 40 years going to the games in their new city don't flatter yourself.Rider fans can keep celebrating their cup wins one every 25+ years as per average 4 cups in 100+ years ,which means your next grey cup win will be around 2038 good luck on that.In the mean time keep dreaming big lol lol lol

Hey Sask you sure think your the top dawg but can say you deserved to lose your last three...lucky stars weren't with you this week and can say this is the time you need to play good ball to win and you haven't played good ball for 3 games straight.

Also Canada's team is not in the CFL period...just because you have sask people that moved throughout Canada still cheering for them in there new province means nothing Canada wide. GET REAL SASK. Make trips through the states and once you get a bit of attention you think they love you...sure they love you but it's not because of the riders it's because they love that you open your wallets for them.
