Man oh man football is alive and well in SK. Prairie style football at its finest. Having great Junior football teams in the 2 SK major City's is awesome. Add SK University football to that with the Rams and Huskies and you have 5 teams including the Riders to get really excited about.
For Regina to come back in the 4th Qtr like that. Against an awesome team like the Hilltops is amazing.
When the Rams were a part of Junior before they moved to the University level. Junior football was different. Always expecting the Rams to win the game. As a winingvattitude it was great. But it made for boring football. Kinda like what Stampeder fans have gone through the last few years.
Ever since the rebuild of the thunder was completed. Junior ball in Regina has become much more fun to watch. Plus watching the Rams go through their growing pains has brought on so many new elements to football fanatics like myself.
Keep up SK football at its best.
Cheer for your perspective City's team 1st. If they don't make it but the other SK city's team makes it further along. Show your SK pride and cheer them on.
