RIDERS ACQUIRE CDN RECEIVER FROM BOMBERS


The Saskatchewan Roughriders have acquired national receiver Brett Blaszko from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in exchange for a conditional selection in the 2018 CFL Draft.     

 

Blaszko (6’4 – 204) was originally selected by the B.C. Lions in the third round (23rd overall) of the 2016 CFL Draft. The 24-year-old Oakville, Ontario native signed with the Bombers last June, after spending his rookie season on the Lions practice roster.

 

 

The Riders also announced the following roster moves:

  • International receiver/returner Joe Craig

How can the Riders bring in so many players into the fold week after week and yet not release as any? Bo Levi wants to know ...

Because after NFL cut downs the size of the CFL rosters can increase. I can't remember the exact number but a quick search of Google will take care of that.
