THE LUC & ROD PODCAST - WEEK 5:

Let the games begin!

With Week 4 in the CFL behind us, the attention can now turn to the Saskatchewan Roughriders' Week 5 match-up at the Calgary Stampeders next Saturday night (7:00 pm Sask Time, TSN, CKRM Rider Radio Network).

The podcast is presented by 620 CKRM and The SportsCage.

CKRM football analyst Luc Mullinder and I return with the Luc & Rod Podcast as we break down the game and discuss both teams headed into the clash at McMahon Stadium.

Luc also has some strong words for the Riders' top rival!

We also take a look around the CFL after four very entertaining weeks of football.

You can listen to the podcast here:

We'll also return to the 620 CKRM airwaves on Monday with the SportsCage at 4:00 pm.

So you can give the Riders great reviews even though they suck and everyone knows it but a team that has lost 1 game in the last 19 gets an F-...keep drinking the green kool-aid

I'm not sure this is really even a rivalry anymore. Calgary has been winning every game for literally years (it been more than 4 years) The Riders have a punchers chance but it sure doesn't look likely that 4 years of history is going to change this week.

I think the "F" actually is a reference to F**K Calgary. He's just being polite!

These guys are paid to talk optimistically about the Riders.

Dude... the Riders decimated Calgary in the Western final 2013. We have only just started season 2017! So what are you talking about when you say Calgary has been beating the Riders for more than 4 years. Your messed up man

That's why carm doesn't work there anymore, he must have criticized the coaching to much, the way they treated the veterans who they dumped, without trying to negotiate new contracts. I doubt if the riders will do much in Calgary, the stamps Dickerson and hufnegle will know all about glen's tendencies and I'm thinking he will have a pretty tough day in stampland

Just more FAKE NEWS !!!

spew out the garbage and hope someone believes it.

how pathetic.

Well, decimated is a bit rich. Calgary had 6 turnovers & kind of self-destructed in 2013. 4 years, more than 4 years, does it matter? Calgary has been good since 2013. Riders haven't. We'll see how it goes this year - new season. Riders have a chance but Bo's never lost 2 straight & Stamps will be in a bad mood after loss in Mtl. Could be a good game.

I think you have to take Luc's comments about Calgary from a player's prospective...."think you are gonna win every game" and " never give the opposition too much respect" or you will most certainly lose. Calgary is better, and has been better for years, but you can't approach any game that wsy.

I don't think Calgary had 6 turnovers in that game, I would be more apt to say the riders caused those turnovers, the riders were not going to lose, that's what DURANT brings to the table.

Did Durant cause all those turnovers? Perhaps magically....

Don't forget people Darian has a God on his side.
