Hamilton Tiger-Cats head coach Kent Austin and quarterback Zach Collaros are denying reports that there’s tension between them.

During a radio interview to B.C. radio station last week, TSN analyst Glen Suitor said the team missed former offensive coordinator Tommy Condell, who was a buffer for the “abrasive” Austin, and that there was a “disconnect” between Austin and Collaros.

Not so, said Austin.

“There’s absolutely zero tension. Don’t even give my answer to Zach and ask him point blank. There’s no tension between me and Zach. We’ve never had tension,” Austin said in the wake of his team’s loss to the B.C. Lion’s on Saturday night. “That’s absolutely ridiculous and completely made up by Glen and he ought to be ashamed of himself.”

Collaros said much the same thing.

“There’s never been tension between me and Kent,” he said. “I don’t know how he could have come to that conclusion based on the conversation that him and I had. If you ask anybody in here, there’s no tension between me and Kent. But again, none of that stuff matters. All that matters is the guys in this room and winning football games.”

Suitor has become one of TV Broadcasters biggest Shit Disturbers in the CFL with many of his uncalled for comments and it's time someone put him in his place.

Out of all the dumb comments Suitor makes, this is the one that someone believed was true and ran with it it?

Anon #1 ... how do you know Suitor is a shit disturber? Now your no different than Glen by making that statement. See it's just as easy to get caught up in something without factual information.
I'm thinking Suitor got his signals crossed when he spoke to Collaros. Who knows, maybe the 2 of them discussed Austins abrassiveness and Glen thought that by discussing it. There must be an issue.

Who cares what YOUR thinking. I said what I think so why does that make you know more than I do?

That makes suitor a shit disturber.

3rd and 1... how do you know he's not a shit disturber? He consistently says stupid things. Suitor model: Think stupid. Say stupid. Act stupid.

Glen Suitor. The only person worth listening to on the Green Zone!

Anonymous said...

What is the Green Zone? Is this another special section in the new stadium or a new bar I have not heard about??

Hey Bubba, take a look in the mirror, smile, there's the green zone. It's so special a dentist won't go near it.

There's nothing wrong with the Green Zone. Its just another station in Regina if you want to listen to sports talk. Yeah, Darryl Davis is an _______ but there are other good contributors. Suitor, Morrison, Remenda even Nye isn't terrible.

Why cant we have two options? Its says a lot when the comment section has continual unsolicited name calling of another station. Act like an adult.

And seriously, you can beak the Green Zone all you want but then you have to be honest about Blair, Myers and MAM. No way they could land a similar gig on any other station. Maybe in a small city like Kindersley/Melville. Not a real market. Not a chance.

Talk on here last week about a 24 hour sports talk station. Someone said a 4 hour morning show with Mitchell Blair. Are you serious? Get real. The only way a sports talk station works is 75% national and 25% local. After hours (night), it's just a repeat of the days programs. If Rod and Luc could be joined and Arash and Peter L. on a more frequent basis, the Sportscage could be on a National level similar to TheFan590 or TSN radio.

As long as Rod has his "buddies" on the Cage with him, you don't really have much of an argument that the Cage is better than the Green Zone. Just both are local where near a national radio station. Not even close.

How I know that Glen Suitor is not the shit disturber on this. Is it was discussed on a few other programs before Glen mentioned it. If you want a source. Try the Waggle... If you don't know what the Waggle is. It's the official podcast of the Canadian Football League, hosted by broadcaster James Cybulski and retired CFL player Davis Sanchez.
In their episode they discuss the disconnect between Kent Austin and Collaros as well as Kent and other people. Plus they discuss Kevin Glen Balling. Look up Kevin Glen Balling story on
The problem with a lot of people in SK is when they hear something they think it originated right there. When in fact it's the 3rd or 4th source. There is so much more going on out there. Too many Saskites are stuck in a tiny wee little bubble here on the Prairies.

I agree that there is room for both the sportscage and the green zone. Besides Rod has one of his regular color guests ( no names) that has an annoying voice like Rusty the Rooster on the friendly giant. Both talk shows have interesting topics.
Why does there have to be so much hate? This is little, tiny Saskatchewan.

I heard that Owen Three is a good friend of Kent Austin's.
