It was a team effort Tuesday night as the Regina Red Sox used six different pitchers in their 8-5 victory over the Moose jaw Miller Express at Currie Field.

Seth Sorenson picked up the Red Sox win. Newcomer Kevin Borst, a Taft University product, made his WMBL debut memorable by picking up the save and striking out five of the six batters he faced.

Galen Andrews started for the Miller Express and lasted two innings. Andrews left the game after being charged with four runs on four hits.

Travis Able, from Leawood, Kansas had four hits and scored two runs in Moose jaw’s  losing effort.

Justin Erlandson continued to dominate WMBL pitching recording four hits, three runs and three RBI.

508 fans were on hand at Currie Field to watch Regina improve their record to 4-2. The loss dropped Moose Jaw to 1-3.
