SUNDAY SPORTS

Kyle Turris capped Ottawa's comeback and pulled the Senators within one win from returning to the Eastern Conference final for the first time in 10 years. Turris scored 6:28 into overtime to lift the Senators to 5-4 victory over the Rangers and a 3-2 series lead in their second-round series. Ottawa's Derick Brassard tied the score with 1:26 left in the third period to force overtime.

---

Evgeny Kuznetsov and Alex Ovechkin scored 27 seconds apart in the third period as the Capitals avoided elimination by beating the Penguins 4-2 in Game 5. Sidney Crosby returned to Pittsburgh's lineup after missing Game 4 with a concussion. The Pens still lead the second-round series 3-2.

---

The struggling Blue Jays are the first team this season to hit the 20-loss mark. Logan Morrison and Colby Rasmus hit two-run homers for Tampa Bay in a 6-1 victory over Toronto at Tropicana Field. The Jays are now 10-and-20 through their first 30 games and 10 games behind the first-place Yankees in the East Division.

---

Toronto's Ezequiel Carrera won't know until Monday if his homer in a 6-1 loss to Tampa Bay is a standard one or inside-the-park. Carrera hit a drive to right field that replays showed reached the stands. However, there was no home run call made by the umpires. Carrera raced around the bases safely as Tampa Bay's outfielders reacted like it was gone as the ball bounced back onto the field. The Elias Sports Bureau will make an official determination on Monday.

Kevin Durant had 38 points and 13 rebounds and the Warriors beat the Jazz 102-91 to take a 3-0 lead in the NBA Western Conference semifinal series. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson were a combined 7 for 29 from the field and 3 for 15 from 3-point range, leaving Durant to lead the way. Game 4 is Monday night in Utah.

The only Durant of note is Lamarr, he plays very good football for the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL.

If you came up to me at work and wanted to chat about the CFL draft with me I would laugh at you and walk away.

Great that the raptors bowed out 4-straight. Now with their beloved Leafs and Raptors out, they can move over to the 11-20 Blue Jays.
