Hey Rod, the two suspensions for personal matters seems a bit weird don't you think......seems odd that right at training camp on the first day they have personal matters. What is the actual deal here or am I making something out of nothing. Please comment.
I've been told by "confidentially" by the team what it is and therefore I'm not at liberty to say. But it's not a concern in any way. It may be reported by someone eventually, but not by me.
Dennis & Grant were at the place where that player got shot. The guy who did it goes on trial Monday. Guessing those two are testifying. Look away people, nothing to see here.
Reminds me of the days when Paul McCallum was suspended at the beginning of every training camp so the Riders could bring in an additional player.
Looking forward to the news from camp Rod. We had our fill of bad news last year, hopefully things go a bit smoother this year so coaches can focus on putting together the team. So much new talent to look at I'm sure it will be a fun camp.
Well if they are going to court in Calgary Monday for their fallen team mate, I'm all in favour of it. Integrity and loyalty to their brothers are what the Riders want.
3 Down Nation reports that the reason for Dennis and Grant being delayed is in regards to the murder trial for the guy who killed their teammate last year.
Highly regarded player talant take one look at Regina upon disembarking on the airport tarmac and they puke in disgust at the the nothing hick town, hence training camps being held in Saskatoon on a yearly basis. Regina worst place to ply your football show skills, truth!
Here come the toon town trolls. They need to insult Regina to make them feel better about the pathetic life they live. I'm sure the Americans will say, oh a river any thing else?
I guess they don't have spell check in the glorious town you hail from?
Why don't you guys just ignore the idiots that make comments like that?? I don't know if they are from Regina, Saskatoon or some somewhere else - they just make the comments to get people riled up and 99% of the time it works. As in most things, if you ignore the idiots they will go away.
