WINNIPEG, MB., April 21, 2017 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announce this morning that defensive lineman Corvey Irvin is retiring from professional football. He has been transferred to the retired list as of today.

I'd quit to if I were him. Having to make the move from a flagship franchise to a crap hole like winnipeg would be tough!

I understand your aggressive post. It's an in your face attempt at dagger humour. Bashing the Peg which in turn bashes their fan. The only thing is it's dumb little comments like this that resonate through a fan base and they in turn end up hating "ALL" Rider fans.
If we could refrain from these direct assaults. It might become a better experience attending the Banjo Bowl. Right now there is far too much hatred over team colours and where you come from.
My Grey Cup experience in Winnipegs new stadium was horrible. As that same poisonous spew was directed at our Rider group the whole game. Plus it came from Young and old Bomber alike.
Everybody need to dial it back.
