A few extra minutes of hockey is no problem for the Flames. Sean Monahan scored with three seconds left in overtime, lifting Calgary over the Blues 3-2 in St. Louis. Brian Elliott made 29 saves against his former team as the Flames improved to 13-and-4 in overtime this season.

The Raptors are heading back to the playoffs. Serge Ibaka and DeMar DeRozan each had 18 points as the Raptors clinched a playoff spot with a 94-86 win over the Mavericks in Dallas. John Wall scored 37 points, Bradley Beal added 27 and the Wizards began a challenging road trip by beating the Cavaliers 127-115. Washington's victory cut Cleveland's lead in the Eastern Conference to a half-game over idle Boston. The Raptors are a game behind Washington for third in the East.
