RIDERVILLE ARIZONA TOUR III PICS

Salt Tacos & Tequila at the Westgate Plaza in Glendale, AZ provided a beautiful backdrop for the Riderville Arizona Tour III party on Thursday.  As expected, thousands of Rider fans converged upon the home of the NHL's Arizona Coyotes to celebrate Rider Pride ...

There was Green & White as far as the eye could see, as evidenced by these photos ...

There was a huge lineup and Salt reached its capacity ....

Rider receiver Naaman Roosevelt came in from Buffalo, NY to greet Rider fans and come on Thursday's SportsCage show on 620 CKRM ...

Rider long-snapper Jorgen Hus was also on hand ...

Arizona Cardinals punter Richie Leone dropped by the show and posed for a photo with Carm Carteri.  Richie said, "This is what I love about the CFL -- Rider fans!"

Two of the owners of Canada To Arizona, former Coyote tough guy Darcy Hordichuk and Regina's Rob Pederson ...

My lawyer Bill Howe was happy to listen into the show with a front row seat ...

Then we went into Gila River Arena to watch the Montreal Canadiens emerge with a 5-4 overtime win ...

The Rider Nation peers over the shoulder of Habs goaltender Carey Price ...

?

Coyotes mascot "Howler" appears to be a fan of the Old 96'er ...

Coyotes defenceman Luke Schenn from Saskatoon poses with Rider fans after the game ...

----

And we're going to do it all over again on Friday with a Rider Fan party at The Draft sportsbar in Mesa, AZ from 12:00-3:00 pm followed by the Phoenix Suns-Chicago Bulls NBA game Friday evening!

THANKS TO ALL WHO ATTENDED!

It's a shame that Arizona is now looking at relocation to Seattle or Portland after Arizona State bailed on Arena deal.

Rod,

Who ever thought up this idea, was a genius.

What a great way to bring Rider fans together in the dead of winter for some R&R.

I think being there would be awesome.

Some year I'll go.

Cheers Rod!

Thankfully there's always people like you around to motivate me! It's worked out great.

Would be a nice touch if one Johnny Manziel would happen to stroll into the bar with his entourage ...

That's good to hear, stay strong, mind, body, spirit. Thanz for the blog and all the hard work you give of yourself. Have fun Arizona!

My God! I can't believe anyone would comment about maintaining sobriety. Get a life. That is exactly why Saskatchewan has so many people who drink and drive. Pure stupidity.

The sobriety comment was dispicable

Paul Owens comment "Pure stupidity".

His personal opinion_ "My God!" " I can't believe anyone would comment about maintaining sobriety" "Get a life." "That is exactly why Saskatchewan has so many people who drink and drive".

Huh????

I owe my life to sobriety and respect of others.

*Saskatchewan has the highest rate of drinking and driving do to ignorance and disregard to the law by people like Paul Owens. He's too stupid to read between the lines that the comment was posted as encouragement and support to Mr. Rod Pedersen.

Paul Owens is a goof!

Point?

Oh no point, just an observation. I'm watching CNN live right now and they are showing mass ICE deportations of Mexicans in Phoenix today. Thought maybe it was a diverse city.

#13 Yes I agree Rod. I would be happy to see Van Roten form Toronto,
Macmillan from Ottawa, and or Dennis and Lavertu from Calgary wearing Rider Green. The O-line injuries the Riders sustained last year showed how important the hoggies are. Whoever the QB is will need another second or two to get the play off.
