RIDER NATION COMES OUT TO CAPITAL AUTO MALL

Saskatchewan Roughriders Founding Partner Capital Auto Group hosted hundreds of Rider fans on Saturday for their first-ever Rider Fan Day.  Everyone was in a great mood following Friday night's 30-29 victory over Ottawa.  Several members of the current team showed up such as Darian Durant, Curtis Steele, Ricky Collins Jr., Corvey Irvin, John Chiles, Quinn Van Gylswyk, Korey Jones, Otha Foster, Major Culbert and Jarriel King.  There may have even been more alumni at the event including George Reed, Dan Rashovich, Luc Mullinder, Phil Price, Carm Carteri, Chris McKenzie, Robert Mimbs and Don Narcisse.  Here are some photos of Saturday's event ...

Rider Nation?
"Riderville" the correct reference of Saskatchewan Roughriders fanbase.

Give it up my old friend from Ottawa. Rider Nation rocks and was as loud and proud as ever last night after beating your Redblacks.

Hmmm... third pic from the top says it all, sorry. The cap worn by Darian Durant reads Riderville.

Go Riders!

Again...official slogan of Grey Cup 2013...Celebration In Rider Nation.

Rider nation = the many individuals who cheer for the Riders

Riderville = any place where Rider nation congregates, whether on a permanent or temporary basis. It is also the website address for the Riders

If you happen to attend the the Riders vs. Stampeder game in Calgary in August, you will get to see Rider Nation on display outside of Riderville!

A "ville" is a place, a Nation is a aggregate of people with a common love of its team and its history. Unlike some other Nations, Rider Nation is very large and worldwide, and open to all who wish to join. RNation is a new and growing entity in Ottawa (Redblackville?), and we wish you well (against other western teams).

Cheers!
