LOUBARDIAS FUNDRAISER PICS

The Regina and southern Saskatchewan sporting community came together Wednesday evening at the Four Seasons Sports Palace to raise $10,000 for the "We Love Lou" Fundraiser benefitting broadcaster Peter Loubardias.  "Lou" has been battling a mystery illness for the past few months and his friends helped raise some money to help cover his costs.  In the photo above from left:  Yours truly, Nick Sereggela, Margaret Sereggela, Tony Sereggela, George Yannitsos and Peter Sereggela.  Thanks to George Yannitsos for graciously donating all the food for the All-You-Can-Eat Pizza and Pasta Night.

Great to see #RodNation come together to help support a great guy in his health battles. You could especially hear it in Kelly's voice on air as he knows how much this means. Great job Rod, behind all the brashness and pot stirring of regular days this fundraiser shows what kind of guy you really are.

Good photo of Tom Sheppard and the Rider's old boys club. Now we can finally see what has gotten Gundersons Yorkton's knickers in a knott!

Why be a jerk and ruin a positive blog post? Tom was there to support Lou, that's a good thing.

Found this while googling Peter Loubo. Hilarious. I hope no one thinks this is in poor taste. If Mike Richards did a bit on him, he must be good.

Well done you beautiful man. It was awesome to be there and visit with the beautiful Mrs. Sportscage. Tiffany Lizee has nothing on her. What a knockout!

Tiffany Lizee rocks! She knocks it out of the park!

I hope you got a scolding from "Spoons" to get the pitcher of pop away from the console! :)

Just like Roddy - do your charity and make a big production out of it so you can get a pat on the back and say hey everybody look at me!!! Big turn out I see.

You are a disturbed, damaged person. I pray for you.

Mathew 6:4 - "so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." - pray on that one buds:)

Pretty hard to secretly rustle up $10,000.

Wow ten grand is impressive!!!! Umm considering you have a couple maybe three or four millionaires sitting there - Sillinger and Shepherd could easily drop that in the basket and so could Getzlaf. The amount should have been higher.

So you're arguing against the Bible now Rod? All the guy is saying is one you don't have to always draw attention to yourself and two I agree with this person. There should have been a lot more money raised considering it's Pete and considering who is in the room.

Rod Pedersen said...

How much money did you guys raise for Peter? Please tell me.

I'm waiting ...

Dude you're to sensitive - lighten up bro!

Wow how harsh are you guys. How do you fund-raise in secret? I applaud Rod and the Sportscage for helping a fellow broadcaster. 10 grand is 10 grand more than you raised for him. You have no idea how much each of these people put in the pot so let it be! As to the person that said he was to sensitive, should be too sensitive by the way, how would you feel if someone attacked you for doing something for a fellow human being.
