Red Deer did not look impressive last night even though they won. The Pats have so much more speed. If the Pats play like they have been and stay out of the box this should be a great series!

Go Pats!

This series should be a different animal for both teams. Round 1 saw the Pats mature quite a bit as a team, especially on the blue line. The return of Colby Williams has cemented the wall on defense and the attention to details by other, primarily forwards, has made the Pats a team to fear. Red Deer has loaded up and will only get better. The difference may be in special teams. And should the Sutter effect take place, much like the KM effect in Brandon, Regina will suffer. Let's hope the series can be determined by the players and not the league and their referees. Please!!
