REGINA - Friday night was a great night to be a Pats fan.  A crowd of 6,023 in the Brandt Centre watched Regina dominate the Saskatoon Blades from start to finish in a 4-0 victory which opened a weekend home-and-home series.

Tyler Brown was the hero for the Queen City Kids, stopping all 28 shots he faced from the struggling Blades.

Regina product Riley Woods had a pair of goals for his hometown team, while Austin Wagner and Robbie Holmes also chipped in for Regina (21-21-7).  Wagner's goal came just 1:40 into the game and it was all the offense Regina would need.

Brock Hamm kicked out 33 shots for the Blades (17-28-4).

NOTES:  The Pats outshot the Blades 38-27 ... Regina was 1/5 on the powerplay and 3/3 killing penalties ... Regina led 2-0 after the first and second periods ... Forward Adam Brooks led the Pats with a +3.

The Pats visit the Blades Saturday at 7:00 pm on 620 CKRM.
