The weekend didn't slow down any coaching movement in the CFL. Here's the latest:
- CKRM/Sportsnet CFL Insider Arash Madani reports the Ottawa RedBlacks have hired Bob Dyce as their Special Teams Coordinator. Madani calls it a shrewd move as Dyce is well-versed in CIS talent as well.
- Madani also reports Jason Maas is putting the finishing touches on his contract to be head coach of the Edmonton Eskimos. Madani predicts two of Maas's coordinators to be Mike Benevides (Defense) and Cory McDiarmid (Special Teams). Benevides was on TSN last year while McDiarmid was Special Teams ass't in Saskatchewan.
- TSN's Farhan Lalji reports the Ottawa RedBlacks are seeking compensation from the Eskimos for the loss of Maas. He was Ottawa's O.C. last year.
- And finally Arash reports Cole Hufnagel - son of the Stamps' John - is poised to leave his post as NY Jets scout where he's been for the last 10 years to join Calgary as the replacement for John Murphy as Ass't GM.
