It was a very busy day around here on the sports scene as you'll see by the string of posts below. We covered them all in the Sports Cage on Wednesday on 620 CKRM with new co-host Rob "Sharky" Jamont. Veteran hockey coach Curtis Hunt also chimed in from Ottawa where he's helping coach Team Canada against USA in sledgehockey competition in advance of the world championships.

However our marquee guest was legendary TSN curling announcer Vic Rauter who joined us to tee up the Scotties and the Brier.

Sharky is a solid addition to the Cage. He is witty and well known in Regina. I look forward to the Cougar Hockey Alumni supper with Tiger Williams. Between Roddy MC'n, Sharky auctioning items and Tiger telling hockey stories - it promises to be a memorable men's night out.

actually, the location of the new Bomber stadium is WAY better than where it is right now, at Polo Park. Parking, moving around, traffic movement- no comparison. Yes it is much farther- but with the perimeter, it would be easier to get to from out of town.
