PATCHAT

The Week That Was

Tuesday, February 5th – Lethbridge 5 @ Pats 2
The Pats trailed 3-2 heading into the third period and put 15 shots towards Ty Rimmer in the final frame, but fell 5-2 to the Hurricanes. Rimmer made 48 saves on the night for the victory. For game highlights, click here.

Thursday, February 7th – Edmonton 7 @ Pats 0
The Oil Kings powerplay ruled over the Pats Thursday night, going 4/7 on the night en route to the big win. The Pats ran into another hot netminder as Tristan Jarry made 24 stops for the shutout. For game highlights, click here.

Saturday, February 9th – Pats 7 @ Brandon 3
Coming back from a two goal deficit in the second period, the Pats’ offence exploded in the third period, scoring four times for a convincing win. Lane Scheidl had two goals and an assist in the win. For full recap, click here.

Quote of the Week
“They were all good goals. They were hard-working goals. I think the goaltender on their end probably misplayed a couple, but it was because we were putting pressure at the net. It’s hard to score on those initial shots if you don’t have people going there. We had it and it seemed to work out. They started going in.” – Pats Head Coach Pat Conacher on the Pats’ offensive outpouring in Brandon (Courtesy Greg Harder – Leader Post)

The Week Ahead
Tues, Feb 12 – Medicine Hat @ Pats
The Tigers visit the Pats on the first 2-for-1 Ticket Night at the Brandt Centre. The last time the two teams met, the closely battled contest finished with Morgan Klimchuk scoring the shootout winner in a 3-2 Pats win.

Fri, Feb 15 – Swift Current @ Pats
It’s Footlong Friday ($4 Footlong Hot Dogs) when the Broncos visit the Pats. All five meetings between the two teams have been decided by only one goal with three games being decided in overtime.

Sun, Feb 17 – Pats @ Calgary
The Pats head out on their final multi-day road trip of the season, and start things off in Calgary against the Hitmen. Tune in to 620 CKRM to catch all of the action starting at 4:35 CST with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show.

How does this THANK YOU help the season ticket holder that has tortured themselves watching the product every night ?

This is a slap in face to a season ticket holder.

What are they giving me a back ? Besides the playoff ticket I paid for this year.

Pats are nothing to me. The game last week against Brandon was the most boring I've seen in years. The TimBits game between periods had better talent (no offense timbit players).

I've been a season ticket holder for over 10+ years and this is the most painful its ever been. But ah cheap beer and fatty foods will make it all better, sign me up - give me a break !!

Score on a power play, win a faceoff... those are things I want. Not cheap beer and hot dogs.

The season ticket holders are the ones you should be thanking... not the walk up crowd that goes to a hand full of games a year.

We are there night in and night out and watch this losing product year after year.

And you give cheap beer ? and hotdogs ?

Maybe there is a letter coming in the mail to me from the Pats saying in "appreciation" for you being a season ticket holder here is 15% off your renewal for next year... cause my feeling right now are I am NOT renewing.

Its a runaway train wreck off the track. I feel sorry for the coaching staff and players.

I agree. The 2 for 1 prices are not a thank you for season ticket holders. A % off next years tickets would be a bonus. I'm looking forward to getting back to a game tonight. I've missed a lot of games the past few weeks (maybe that's why they're losing)!!! lol!

GO PATS
