KENT, January 10, 2013 - Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell today announced the team has acquired Adam Kambeitz from the Saskatoon Blades and Andrew Johnson from the Moose Jaw Warriors.
The T-Birds sent a third round pick in the 2014 Bantam Draft to Saskatoon for Kambeitz and a fourth round pick in the 2013 Bantam Draft to Moose Jaw for Johnson.
"We are excited to make these additions to our team," said Farwell. "I believe our team is much better than our current record and we have added both scoring and leadership with this trade."
Kambeitz is a 20-year-old forward who has 21 points this season on nine goals and 13 assists. He has played 300 career games with the Blades and Red Deer Rebels and has 53 goals and 66 assists for 119 points with 316 penalty minutes.
