(Edmonton) – The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club has extended the contracts of linebacker TJ Hill and offensive lineman Brian Ramsay. As per club policy, the terms of the contracts will not be disclosed. Both Hill and Ramsay were eligible to enter free agency in February 2013.
TJ Hill
A defensive standout, Hill played and started in 18 games this season. He racked up 80 defensive tackles, three special teams tackles, four knockdowns, two forced fumbles and an interception he returned for 32 yards and a touchdown. The six-year veteran originally signed with the Eskimos as a free agent on July 21, 2009 and signed a contract extension on April 13, 2011.

Brian Ramsay
Ramsay played in 17 games with six starts at guard for the green and gold in 2012.  The six-year CFL veteran originally signed on Feb. 16, 2011.
The Eskimos have also released import running back Cory Boyd. Boyd played six games for the green and gold, carrying the ball 27 times for 148 yards and a touchdown. He also had four catches for 40 yards. Boyd originally signed on August 12 , 2012, was released on October 11 and re-signed on October 21.
