ARGOS HIRE BRADY

Mississauga – Wasting little time after winning the Club's 16th Grey Cup championship, the Toronto Argonauts are already building on their achievement and working to ensure the long-term, sustained success of the organization. The team announced today that Marcus Brady has been named Offensive Coordinator. Brady served the 2012 season as the Montreal Alouettes' Offensive Coordinator.

Commented Argonauts' Head Coach Scott Milanovich, "I have had the good fortune to have coached and worked with Marcus Brady for four years.  He is one of the brightest young offensive minds in football, and as we prepare for the 2013 CFL season he will only make our football family stronger."

Brady has four years of coaching experience in one of the most prolific and highest scoring offences in the Canadian Football League. He joined the Montreal Alouettes in 2009 as the Club's Receivers Coach and immediately placed three of his players on the East All-Star team. In 2012, he was promoted to Offensive Coordinator and entrusted to run an offence that had led the CFL in scoring in four of the previous five seasons. His unit again scored nearly 500 points, had two receivers with more than 1,000 yards receiving and Anthony Calvillo once again threw for more than 5,000 yards.

Commented new Offensive Coordinator, Marcus Brady "I'm very excited to again be working with Scott Milanovich. We spent several years working together and he is a big reason why I wanted to come and be part of this staff to help build something special here in Toronto. It's been a long time since I played for the Double Blue and it's good to see this franchise become one of the top teams in the league again. I'm confident this organization will remain competitive and successful for the long-term."
