Swift Current, SK – Former Swift Current Bronco Captain, Taylor Vause, has signed an Amateur Tryout Agreement with the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League, the primary affiliate of the Dallas Stars.
In 72 games played this past season the 5'10", 179lbs. Calgary, AB product led the team in scoring with 83 points (37G, 46A). He also ranked 15th in the WHL in points.
In his WHL career, Vause played 273 games with the Broncos where he recorded 79 goals and 111 assists for 190 points and 71 penalty minutes.

congrats to Vause on his amateur agreement... i still dont know why no 1 traded for him to upgrade there 20yr old spots this guy is a pure offensive talent & was buried on a terrible Broncos team.

Taylor was one of those rare kids that don't come around very often. Stellar kid and good hockey player.
He will be dearly missed in Swift Current for his involvement in the community.
