The Western Hockey League threw the book at the Regina Pats one day after the club's 5-4 double overtime loss to the Moose Jaw Warriors in Game 4 of their WHL Eastern Conference Quarterfinal.
Forward Dyson Stevenson has been suspended one game for the clipping major he was assessed late in the third period. It was the call which cost the Pats the victory. Meanwhile Regina Pats President Brent Parker was fined $2500 for inappropriate conduct. It's believed Parker may have punched a door in the press box and had a verbal exchange with WHL officials.
The Warriors lead the series 3-1 with Game 5 Friday night in Moose Jaw on 620 CKRM. The game is sold out.
