PATS HOST RED DEER TONIGHT

THE MATCH-UP – This will be the fourth and final match-up between the Pats and Rebels with Red Deer winning two of the first three and outscoring the Pats 9-7 in the process. Red Deer is led by top NHL Draft prospect Mathew Dumba. The Rebels rearguard is rated in the top 10 by all NHL Draft publications. Cory Millette, a Storthoaks, Saskatchewan native is having a solid rookie season with 27 points in 53 games.


MILESTONE - Jordan Weal moved into 5th place all-time in Pats scoring when he recorded his 100th point of the season this past Friday. Jordan’s 369 career points trail only Len Nielsen (376), Dennis Sobchuk (416), Mike Sillinger (419) and Dale Derkatch (491) on the career Pats scoring list.

CONFERENCE ROUND-UP – The Pats currently sit 7th in the Eastern Conference. They trail the Saskatoon Blades by one point for 6th place and lead the Wheat Kings by one point for 8th place... The Pats have eight games remaining after tonight’s contest with six of those eight games being played in the Brandt Centre. The Pats will play the Brandon Wheat Kings in four of their last eight games including this Saturday night.
