Kelly is a good guest. I am a little disappointed about Mayor's Pat's defending boxing. I mean the intent of the sport is to give the opponent a concussion. How in the hell is that something that can be defended as a sport you can safely put your child in?!

Hey Rod,
Great show as always. I was really impressed by Coach Kelly's comments, especially when talking about configuring your offence around the strengths of your players not adpating your players to your offence. Something I felt was Berry's demise. After hearing him speak I would really like to see him on the Riders radar for the new O.C. or even our new H.C. I can see why you say people gravitate to him...class act.

Mike Kelly as a candidate for Rider Head Coach next year?

I liked his interview, but this is the guy who sank Winnipeg's chances, cutting Kevin Glenn and hitching his wagon to a 3rd string QB no one remembers, and Michael Bishop following that experiment. Add to the mix all the crap he said in the media and you have a recipe for disaster. He might be a players coach, but they said the same thing about Greg Marshall. Still, it would be nice to see him on someone's staff next year.
