he was!! he fixed it after! It was the funniest! Cuz during the scrum, they put it on the big screen and everyone went "OOOOO" and he looked up!

Sometimes you just gotta laugh at yourself.

Speaking of the Pats. Do people in Regina understand that they have Rick Rypien incarnate playing for this year's team. Wait until he's 19. It's going to be a freak show. And he's only about 150. That last fight with Tarnasky on youtube is unbelievable. The kid stands in and takes two in the nose, busts his face wide open and ends up just destroying the kid. Like I said, next Rick Rypien.

Frankly, I worry about the kid (Stevenson). He throws caution to the wind when he drops the gloves and one of these times he's going to get tagged by someone bigger and stronger and he won't get up. He has to learn to be a little more defensive (smarter) and at least try and prevent taking those punches full on. Anyway, there's no doubt the kid is tough and can really throw them.

Dyson Stevenson is very tough, maybe the toughest guys pound for pound to play in the WHL in over a decade. He has no sense of self preservation in his fights and I agree that one can only worry about him because he is so fearless. I am sure he will learn some tactics. Lets face it that the fight against Tarnowski was a classic example of how tough he is. Nose shattered on first two punches and stayed in and just beat the tar out of Tarnowski. The interesting part is, and Im not sure who has seen the video, that even with Tarnowski having shattered his nose, when he had Tarnowski bent over and was pummelling him, he stopped when he could have thrown a few more. Imagine the kid when he is 190.

This made me want to listen to Paul Simon's "Slip Slidin' Away":)

A friend in Winnipeg posted your blog link and I have just shared this link with a hockey friend in New York, where the weather might be causing folks to slip and fall like the linesman.
