The 34th PFC championship game and inaugural title tilt between provincial rivals Saskatoon and Regina played out on a clear Sunday afternoon at Gordie Howe Bowl in the Bridge City.
In a back-and-forth game, the Hilltops prevailed 32-24 and captured their 13th Prairie Football Conference championship.
The Hilltops will host the defending Canadian Bowl champions Vancouver Island Raiders on Saturday November 13th in the 2010 edition of the national final. The Raiders downed the OFC champions Hamilton Hurricanes 38-13 in the Intergold Cup Game on Saturday.
The PFC's two best passers, Reid Quest and Chase Bradshaw duelled all day long as Quest completed 17 of 33 for 259 yards with 2 TD's and 3 INTS, while Bradshaw was 12 of 19 for 266 yards with 2 TD's.

Way to go Hilltops!!
I'm a Hilltops fan, but I really thought that the Thunder would win it all this year. Still, congratulations to them for reaching their first PFC final. If Coach Klempner can convince Quest to return for one final year, I would be even more convinced that Regina would be the favourites to win the Canadian Bowl in 2011. I hope he returns...the more good players in this league, the better.
Huskies win, Hilltops win, riders lose. Maybe it is time to do it right, build a new stadium but place it in ....
Is it true that the Junior Final will be played in Saskatoon at Gordie Howe's Bowl? You would think that Saskatoon would want to show case their city. Too bad.
The site location for the Canadian Bowl should be announced in the next day or 2.
