Dub Playoff Roundup

The Calgary Hitmen used a three goal first period to cruise to a 6-2 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors Monday night in Game 7 in the Saddledome. That means the second round playoff pairings in the WHL East Conference are now set; the Hitmen will face Medicine Hat in Round 2 while the Saskatoon Blades take on Brandon.

Out west, Kelowna won Game 7 at Everett Monday while Spokane beat Portland 4-3 to force a Game 7 Wednesday night in Spokane.

I was stunned to learn from people at work and friends of mine who I never thought would cheer for MJ, WERE cheering for the Warriors. Easy team to like I guess.
