Roddy - I like the poll about Eberle. True Ebs is a GREAT player but I don't think he has done enough to earn that status. I believe an honour like that should be based upon the accomplishments with that team. He has been knock out in World J's for two years but has not won any major WHL Awards except for a Scholastic Player of the Year. And unless he wins the scoring race he wont win any others this year ... especially with the Pats out of the playoffs.

I still am interested to see where he will fit in the NHL as another undersized player in Edmonton. Time will tell!

Anaheim gave up a player AND a first-rounder for Toskala? Wow.

My chances of running into Elisha Cuthbert at the Saddledome have been erased.

Man did Calgary get ripped off. Keith Aulie will be a good one.

No pick going to Toronto in the trade. Blake and Toskala for Giggy. Gotta hand it to Burk, he is not afraid to shake things up.

Burke truly is a clown. It must have felt like Christmas morning for Calgary fans. Not only did they get rid of an overpaid crappy player but they added four solid young players. Talk about an instant shot at a cup run. Burke really is running that team into the sewer. sucks to be a leaf fan.

I just want to say that McKinnie is an idiot! Way to be a team player! His numbers this season weren’t even worthy of a Pro Bowl roster spot. I hope he gets hit with a hefty fine for his absences.
