Stamps/Riders Clinch Home Playoff Game

The Calgary Stampeders clinched a home playoff game on Saturday night with a 28-26 win over the BC Lions in Vancouver.

With a 10-6-1 record, the Stamps are guaranteed at least second place in the Canadian Football League West Division.

As a result, they are assured a home berth in the West Division Semi-Final on Sunday, Nov. 15.

The Riders are assured at least second as well, as the third-place Lions are three points behind with one game to play in the regular season.

However, the Stamps face the Saskatchewan Roughriders next Saturday in Regina in a game that will determine first place in the West Division.

The winner of the Calgary-Saskatchewan clash will claim first place in the West and a bye to the Division Final, which will be played on Sunday, Nov. 22.

Thanks Calgary, I am happt to see that the Riders will be hosting a playoff game. I believe that is the 3rd in a row.
Also I must say that I am envious of the fans that will be at the game this Saturday against the Stamps, I feel it has a chance to be something pretty special. The battle for first place comes down one to one game. Who would have thought?
As far as the Riders game today in Hamilton, I think it was pretty obvious that the Riders were thinking of nothing but this up coming game against the Stamps. Best of Luck Team Green, and heres to hoping you send Smiling Hank home, in a state of depression.
P.S. I know some don't care, but I do so I am going to blog the news anyhow... The Yanks are only two wins away from their 27th Championship, and it would be so FREAKEN AWESOME to see them do it in their new House. Thank Goodness AGOD and Swish come out of their slump, I am praying that they get into a groove, that lasts until the Yanks bring the Championship back to the Big Apple. I am really not sure who I am praying too, but I am praying nonetheless...
Heres to the Riders winning this weekend against the Stamps. The Pats turning it on in some point of the season and rattling off 10 or 15 wins in a row, and the Yanks winning their 27th Championship...

Now we just need to find out which kind!

dt....give up on the Yankees man, they suck royally, and you spelled A-Roid wrong. They should take their almost billion dollar payroll, and feed some hungry children out there, or build a shelter for them, instead of A-Roid entertaining other blondes, while his wife, sits at home. We here in Saskatchewan dont care about the Yankees and their swollen wallets.....give it a rest.

That was tough cheering for the Stamps, but at least we have a home playoff game. I also wish we had Joffery Reynolds ! He sure gets the job done when he is needed, and Reynolds is not a showboat like the rest of the Stamps !

Way to go Calgary (gag)
To quote CTV's Dan McIntosh, cheering for Calgary is like puking in your mouth. Your glad you kept it in, saving your rider jersey, but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Mosaic stadium will be rocking next Saturday, the 13th man will be the difference.
Go Riders!!!

Go Yankees! Man the yanks win made my evening after the Riders loss. I love this team. Philly is not a joke..they have a tough squad, but the yanks are gods. I wonder if Pedro will ever become a yankee....?? He's like Randy Johnson..we hated him, but soon after he was wearing the pinstripes. lol.

Wow, The Left One committed so many fallacies in an argument it's funny. You can't say the Yankees suck and then bring up so many irrelevant issues into the argument such as A-Rod's entertainment pleasures. And feeding hungry children? Is that the New York Yankees responsibility? I think not. Get a grip Lefty.

Hay Lefty no offence, but Blow it out your A**. Again for all that care, and from the looks of it, I am not the only blogger on here that is a die hard Yankees Fan.
The Yankees Win, The Yankees Win Theeeee Yankees Win. Yes folks, the Yankees won again on Sunday, and are now only 27 outs away from their 27th Championship.
The Yankees are one hell of a franchise. You know what is funny though, the fans that complain and bitch about the Yankees spending the $ they do. Is this your $, are you really that disturbed about the $ that the Yankees spend? It's funny you know back in the early 90's when the Jays won back to back Championships they had the highest payroll in the Major Leagues, and no one seemed to comment then.
The Yankees are by far the most Historical, and Successful of any sport in History. So if you again must bitch and complain, I only have to say to those out there that do IE Lefty how about go blow it out your A**.
