Rider coach Ken Miller says SB Andy Fantuz will be a game time decision due to a mild hamstring pull. If he can't go, Chris Getzlaf will take his spot.
The forecast calls for 25 degrees and the possibility of light showers. Yesterday the game was announced as a complete sellout.
If you can't watch or listen to the game, I'll be updating on Twitter. Click on the icon at the top left of the page to sign up.
Enjoy the game!

Sounds awesome Rod. Today is the day of the big wedding in Norquay between my cousin (amanda) and my good buddy (ivan)so we'll be counting on you to deliver the score from the radio in the truck. If you could send a big shout out to Amanada and Ivan over the air that would be awesome. Have a good game, and stay out of the french maid!
Here's an interesting email I received in my inbox. I don't know whether or not you'd agree with it, but it's worth a read!
"I read your blog on www.cfl.ca. Let me tell you a few things that you can’t see from up in the press box.
Rider Fan is definitely to blame for the crackdown on tailgating. However, Rider Fan wasn’t out in the parking lot pre-game causing problems. We never had problems with tailgating in the parking lot. The Stampeders have decided to crack down on all drinking in an effort to rid themselves of the problems inside the stadium (although it is a Pollyanna policy when they still sell beer (and copious amounts of it) inside the stadium). And, believe me, it is Rider Fan who is causing them.
I am 41 years old. This means that when I started going to games, I have now seen 3 generations of Rider Fan. When I was 18 in 1986 and started going, Rider Fan was my age now. So, I have seen the current 61 year old generation, the 41 year old generation and the now 21 year old generation. It is the last generation of Rider Fan who is giving you a bad name. It is this generation that drinks excessively and then shows up at McMahon to cause trouble. In 1986 it was Eskimo Fan. Back then, the section I still sit in (N) was the student section. The Stampeders used to put Eskimo Fan in Section M when they rode the bus down for the Labour Day game. Drunk Eskimo Fan vs. Drunk Student Section was not a fun place to be. But, Eskimo Fan has stopped coming over the years and has been replaced by Rider Fan. It is this generation of fan that is throwing beer at the B.C. Lions in your stadium. It is this generation of fan that is grabbing the gun of the police officer (see the YouTube video). It is this generation of fan that is attacking police officers in the stands. It is this generation of fan that thinks nothing of chucking a few beer cans at Stamp fans in our section. And, Rider Fan who is now 41 or 61 is letting it happen. This is the sad part. This kind of crap happens in my section, with the generation of fan underneath me, and I put a stop to it or get security to escort them out. Your older generation of fan is watching it happen and they are doing nothing about it. When you are ready to go back to the quality of Rider Fan that we saw in 1986 through to about 2003, I will welcome you back to McMahon Stadium. I enjoyed having you around. In the meantime, yeah, stay the hell home!!
Sincerely,
Blair Sorge"
So 61 year old Rider fans are responsible for 21 year old Rider fans getting drunk and stupid? I don't follow.
I would take Blair's opinion a little more seriously if it was written using proper grammar. I don't believe that "Rider Fan is responsible".
hey rod
whats up with the receivers? Are the riders loking at bringing in any imports. They seem to have tons of canadians but no quality imports aside from dressler. I don't think that the problems can be generalized to one particular group of people. If you egg a drunk person on your not going to get a good response, no matter how old or what team they cheer for, and that's what happened with the B.C. Lions. Alcohol combined with crowds affects people's decisions.
The generation of fan has nothing to do about correcting the drinking problems and rowdy fans.
The will of the fan that supports the team doesn't seem to matter. It is how much booze that can be sold at any of the CFL stadiums.
I do not enjoy the idiots that represent any team that spit, throw beer cans at people in the stands, teams or officials or hurl insults.
But I will be dammed if some blog bully that doesn't have the guts to try to change the system from within as my fellow fans at Rider games have, so far with a little success will tell me what stadium I can buy a ticket in to watch a football game.
Go Riders.
JC
While I might agree that 21 year old Rider fan causes problems at home and on the road, I am absolutely positive that Stampeder fan and Eskimo fan and Lion fan and Bomber fan and whoever is also responsible for drunkenness in the stands.
What needs to be done is fellow Rider fan has to be smart and make sure drunken Rider fan doesn't get stupid or else security no matter where the game steps in and then drunk Rider fan (or whoever) gets what he or she deserves.

P.S ROD I WAS AT THE GAME AND MAYBE MR.SORGE SHOULD NOT BE SUCH A HIPPOCRITE.AS HIM AND HIS MERRY BAND OF IDIOTS ARE LESS ROLE MODELS AS I WITNESSED IT FIRST HAND. P.S IF YOU ARE SIXTY THEN YOU SHOULD PEACH THE SAME TO YOUR BIG MEATHEAD OF A SON.
Mr. Sorge is not a "hypocrite", my friend (Mr. Anonymous, of course!). In 20 years of going to football games at McMahon, my "merry band of idiots" have never thrown beer cans at anyone, nor would we allow it to happen in our section by our fans. We would get security to escort them, even our own fans from the game. Having fun and throwing beer are two different things, Mr. Anonymous.
