So the Warriors said good bye to their GM. Pretty bizarre...
I at least would have thought that they would would have given Chad at least one or two seasons more seasons.
Personally, I think Chad should have been given the chance to see how his trades work out over time.
Another possiblity is that this had nothing to do with the organzation wanting a change and more than likely it was a joint decision. Likely made by the Board, Chad's parents, & the schools Truancy Officer? I mean when Chad took the position as GM in grade 7. I don't think it mattered as much if he had to miss a fair amount of school. However this year Chad will be going into high school, and that will be a big change in itself. First there it's a new school, meeting new people, and then there is the girl thing. They may have thought it was just the best decision for all.
Well there goes my Habscheid to MJ as coach/GM theory. This isn't a surprising move and Chad lasted longer that I expected because if memory serves me he had no hockey operations experience when he was hired as marketing manager. His team did win an Eastern Conference title though................
